As an artist, more importantly as a human being I carry a lens in which I encounter the world through. This lens is an accumulation of experience and knowledge in its varying forms. I can only see a step forward because of the footprints I have left behind me. The standpoint that I am positioned in at this present moment engages with a heart for the land, the people and God. How each image affects the other.

Within a studio context I see this subjective thinking or understanding of the world
expressed though material and process. Each element presented within my studio practice carries a predetermined value and stream of connotation. As I am led to new grounds, the existing affiliation of material and process plays a vital role in articulating the research that has guided me. Leaving another set of footprints behind me. The endless cycle of revelation in the relationship between land, people and God leads my standpoint forward

COLLECTIONS

A specific area of engagement has been concept of value. How value systems are linked to the archival nature of human kind. I am opening a lens to view the humble collector. Mankind’s collections and present archives of Nature’s creations.
